A Pink and Yellow Nursery

A couple weeks ago I announced on Instagram that my husband and I are having another little girl. We are so excited about having another sweet girl to love on and the fact that we don't have to repaint the nursery (terrible, I know).

As a designer, I can't just let the nursery look the same, so using the existing light pink wall color (Pink Swirl by Benjamin Moore) I've come up with a new design for the space. I'll keep all the furniture but change out the art, lamp, curtains and linens.

There's a white Mid Century dresser in there now and an IKEA crib with pink painted spindles.

The color scheme is the existing light pink with a hotter pink and yellow (lemon). I saw the Little Unicorn's lemon pattern and I was inspired. I'm going to add pops of hot pink and yellow with the wall art, the tassels on the curtains and little accessories. I'm in love with this art for over the crib that I found on Etsy.

I'm so excited to see this room come together, but I'm going to wait until the bathroom remodel is done and can move my toddler to her new room.
